Protecting Yourself

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh encourages all its Members and Fellows to prioritise their own physical and mental wellbeing during the pandemic. There will be immense pressure on all of us, and so it is essential that we protect ourselves against burn out, post-traumatic stress, and other manifestations of working in an intimidating and unpredictable environment.
