The ‘Update: Urology’ webinar series in Autumn will see leading experts deliver their insights into key topics in urology. This series is run by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Professor Prokar Dasgupta, former Editor-in-chief of the BJUI, will share his insights into writing a successful paper; Professor Jens-Uwe Stozenburg, global pioneer in training in robotic urological surgery, will provide top tips on robotic partial nephrectomy; Mr Mark Speakman, former BAUS President, will explore the evidence base underlying the wide range of surgical treatments for LUTS; Professor Alan McNeill, BJUI treasurer and former BAUS section of Oncology Chair, will provide an update on current trends in the surgical management of prostate cancer. Professor James N’Dow, Chair of the EAU Guidelines Committee, will discuss the highlights of the updated 2020 EAU guidelines; Professor Alex Haese will provide his insights into robotic radical prostatectomy as head of the world’s highest volume prostate-cancer centre.
The webinars will be vital viewing for Urologists in training, Urological Nurse Specialists, as well as Urologists in established practice.
