The policy team has spent much of this week preparing the President Michael Griffin for a roundtable conversation on surgery during the pandemic he participated in with the All-Party Parliamentary Health Group on Wednesday. President Michael Griffin particularly stressed the importance of getting diagnostics back up and running after the pandemic and also the issue of the impact of the virus on trainees this year. We have also been engaging with other Colleges and the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges on a response to the NHS consultation on integrated care systems in England and have been working on our long-term workstreams including the equality and diversity work.
