RCSEd Saddened to hear of the loss of Fellow of the College, Mr. Kar Hao Teoh

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Kar Hao Teoh. Mr. Teoh, a devoted trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at Princess Alexandra Hospital, was a paragon of medical excellence and unwavering commitment to his profession, bringing this to his role as a Regional Surgical Ambassador of the College.
A respected member of the RCSEd Younger Fellows' Committee, Mr. Teoh's influence extended far beyond his clinical practice. He was not only a skilled practitioner but also a mentor, shaping the future of surgery through his dedication and teaching. Kar had also been recently appointed as the education lead for the Trauma and Orthopaedics Surgical Speciality Board at RCSEd to share his knowledge and drive forward the speciality with the College.
