Are you a dentist on the specialist list or working as an SAS grade with an ambition to be a future leader within your profession?
The Future Leaders Programme (FLP) is a 12-month blended learning programme that has been running successfully for 3 years with participants from all surgical specialities. Some have been funded by specialist societies or Trusts and others have paid for themselves. The RCSEd are keen to involve dental colleagues to bring a different perspective to each cohort.
The programme is accredited by RCSEd and supports the advanced leadership skills needed to excel. Participants will complete an educational project which will provide a vehicle for learning and development. The programme has 4 modules each consisting of 2 days of live learning totalling: 4 virtual, 2 face to face in Birmingham and 2 face to face in Edinburgh, with Action Learning Sets which will be self-directed. The final 2-day session takes place live at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
