Professor David Henry Felix. Lately Dean of Postgraduate Dental Education and Director of Dentistry, NHS Education for Scotland. For services to Dental Education and Clinical Training.

Professor Iain Louis Hutchison. Founder and Chief Executive, Saving Faces - The Facial Surgery Research Foundation. For services to Preventing and Treating Facial Cancers.

Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)

Professor Christopher Brookes. Chair, Wigan Warriors and lately Chief Medical Officer, Rugby Football League and England Rugby League. For services to Rugby League.

Dr Karen Jayne Juggins. Lead, Keep Stoke Smiling Dental Health Campaign and Consultant Orthodontist, University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. For services to Dentistry.

Dr Simon James Lewis. Medical Director, Magpas Air Ambulance. For services to Emergency Care.

Dr Roderick Mackenzie. Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. For services to Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine.

Professor John Martin Sparrow. Lately Honorary Professor of Ophthalmic Health Services Research and Applied Epidemiology, University of Bristol. For services to Ophthalmology. 

Medallists of the Order of the British Empire (BEM)

Paul John Gates. Vice-Chair, British Association for Immediate Care. For services to Pre-Hospital Critical Care. 

Department of Health - King’s Ambulance Service Medal (KAM)

Liam Anthony Sagi. National Strategic Lead for Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest, Association of Ambulance Chief Executives and Advanced Paramedic in Critical Care, East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust and East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Order of the Thistle

Professor Sir Jim McDonald. Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Strathclyde.  For services to engineering.

I am incredibly proud to see our distinguished Fellows and Diplomates recognised in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours List. Their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to medicine, surgery, and dental education have made a lasting difference to patients, colleagues, and communities alike. This well-deserved recognition reflects not only their individual achievements but also the profound impact that excellence, innovation, and compassion in healthcare can have on society.
