Overview
By the end of this webinar, the attendee should be able to understand how to assess a burn injury - major and minor injuries, initial management of the major injury and be aware of the importance of injury prevention.
Panellists
Mr Nadeem Khwaja
Nadeem is a consultant burns and plastic surgeon in Manchester since 2012 and th current Head of School of Surgery for HEENW. Has been a previous TPD and is a current member of the plastic surgery SAC. For many years has been involved in multidisciplinary education relating to burn care both in the UK and LMICs as a Trustee of the British Burn Association and member of BFIRST (British Foundation for International Reconstructive Surgery and Training). He has an interest in workplace behaviours and human factors and is a faculty for the RCSEd NOTSS course.
Daniel Saleh
Daniel Saleh is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the North East of England with a practice primarily focussed on surgical oncology and microsurgical reconstruction.
