Our panellists include:

Becky Sandford

Consultant Vascular Surgeon, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. Becky has been a consultant at GSTT since 2016, having trained in Leicester, Birmingham and London. Her specialist interests are ambulatory emergency care and global vascular surgery. She supports the spinal access work at GSTT.

 

 

 

 

Mark Tyrrell

Consultant Vascular Surgeon, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. Mark has consultant experience spanning over 30 years, with the focus of his current practice being complex aortic work and spinal access surgery. He supports the paediatric and adult spine service at GSTT and Cleveland Clinic London.

 

 

 

 

Paul Thorpe

Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at Musgrove Park, Taunton in the Somerset Spinal Surgery Service. His specialist practice includes adult and paediatric deformity surgery, tumour and trauma, infection in the spine, minimal access surgery, cervical disc replacement and degenerative disease in the cervical and lumbar spine. As well as training of juniors and Fellows, he has interests in Informed Consent, Medicolegal practice, Biomodelling and Organisational Psychology.

 

 

 

Ashok Subramanian - Consultant Spine Surgeon at Musgrove Park Taunton, since 2016, with a specialist interest in Minimal Access Spine Surgery. Trained in Chennai, Stanley Medical College, and undertook Specialist Fellowships at Queen Square London and in Edinburgh at the Royal Infirmary and Royal Hospital for Children.

Mr Andy Tambyraja (Chair) - Clinical Director and Consultant Vascular Surgeon, Honorary Clinical Reader in Vascular Surgery
