Parenting as a doctor….the good, the bad and the downright funny

25th May 2023

Overview

Trying to conceive and being a parent as a doctor is tough, there are no two ways about it!

Join us for our fourth Wellbeing Week webinar, an evening panel discussion, on all things pregnancy and parenting as a doctor, with Jacqui Honess-Martin and Dr Brooke Vandermolen.

Jacqui is the creator, writer and executive producer of ITV’s newest medical drama Maternal. The critically acclaimed show perfectly captured how difficult it can be for parents juggling family life, whilst under pressure at work and making critical life or death decisions. We will discuss what inspired her to write the show and what she learnt along the way.

Brooke is an O&G registrar, antenatal teacher (The Birth Collective) and creator of @theobgynmum, an Instagram account followed by over 80,000 people giving advice on pregnancy, periods, fertility and more.
