Panellists

Mr Dominic Slade

Consultant Colorectal Surgeon. Dominic works at Salford Royal NHS Trust, one of the two National Reference centres for Intestinal Failure. He has developed a practice in managing complex abdominal wall defects especially those created by the management of the abdominal

catastrophe through creation of an open abdomen. He is the Chair of the ACPGBI abdominal wall committee and a member of the abdominal wall committee for BHS. A common aim of these committees is to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with open abdomens.
