A multidisciplinary approach to non-infectious inflammatory lesions of the sinonasal tract

This webinar will look at Non-infectious inflammatory lesions of the sinonasal tract including: sarcoidosis; granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA); eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) and relapsing polychondritis.
The webinar will be relevant to ENT doctors of all grades. It will provide top tips to recognise autoimmune conditions that are relatively common in hospital practice. Management and treatment pathways highlight the multidisciplinary approach needed for these conditions.
• Classification of nasal granulomatous conditions
• Pathophysiology of these conditions
• Microbiology of specific nasal granulomatous conditions
• Systemic and nasal features of granulomatous conditions e.g. sarcoidosis and Wegener’s granulomatosis
• Methods of diagnosis
• Management of these conditions
• History and appropriate clinical examination
• Relevant special investigations and correct interpretation of them
Mr Christopher Webb
Consultant ENT surgeon with subspecialty interest in vasculitis, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Christopher Webb has been an ENT consultant since 2007. He has worked alongside Dr Janice Harper and Sr Sarah Hardy in their multidisciplinary vasculitis clinic for more than 8 years and thoroughly enjoys this multidisciplinary and multiprofessional working. His other subspecialty interest lies in rhinology which ties in perfectly with the vasculitis work.
Dr Janice Harper
Consultant Vasculitis and Renal Medicine. Dr Janice Harper trained in Nephrology and obtained a PhD investigating pathogenic mechanisms involved in ANCA vasculitis. She is the lead for a multispecialty vasculitis service in Liverpool including a joint ENT vasculitis clinic. Her research interest is in drug trials for vasculitis.
