As part of our five-year anniversary campaign, we took the opportunity to speak with some of our Executive Committee Members about the origins of the Faculty, how it has evolved over the years and how they see FRRHH developing in the future.
In this first video, FRRHH Chair, Prof. Rikard Moen shares the vision behind the creation of the Faculty.
Dr Moen shares how the Faculty has developed greatly throughout the years with the creation of a curriculum for remote, rural and humanitarian healthcare professionals in addition to the introduction of the new Membership and Fellowship awards.

FRRHH Deputy Chair, Mr Andy Kent OBE brings 20 years of British military experience and a background in humanitarian work. Initially established as the Faculty of Remote & Rural Healthcare (FRRH), Andy played a key role in integrating 'Humanitarian' in remote and rural.
In this final video, we hear from FRRHH Honorary Secretary, Dr Phil Sharples who has been involved in remote and rural healthcare for over 30 years. He shares the Faculty's accomplishments and ongoing efforts to improve healthcare access.
