Oxford FTSS - Core Surgical Training Interview Preparation Evening 2023

Overview
The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Oxford Foundation Trainees Surgical Society invites aspiring core trainees to take part in an online evening of talks to help you prepare for your core surgical training interviews. The evening will start with an introduction from Mr Mike Silva, TPD for Higher Surgical Training (Gen Surg) HETV, Council Member and Director of the RCSEd Regional Surgical Advisory Network. This will be followed by talks covering the 2023 CST selection process, an introduction to core surgical training and how to succeed in the core surgical interview from a recent applicant. The evening will finish with a ‘live’ mock interview. In addition, you will also have the option to sign up for a one-to-one mock interview conducted by senior faculty (limited spaces available).
If you would like to register for the one-to-one mock interview conducted by senior faculty, please register here (in addition to the registration form below). There are limited spaces available. You will be asked for a £50 refundable deposit that will be refunded on attendance. The mock interviews will follow on directly after the webinar presentations.
