Published: 13 January 2026 | International Medical Graduates, International Medical Graduates UK, NHS

International Medical Graduates working in the NHS deserve to receive the same support, pay and employment rights as their UK colleagues. All organisations delivering international training schemes have a duty to advocate on behalf of their trainees by setting out and adhering to standards that are equitable and transparent. Royal Colleges play a vital role in  training, assessment and accreditation, ensuring that individual training needs are met.
