Mrs Juliette Murray is National Clinical Director of NHS Scotland’s Centre for Sustainable Delivery. She trained as a general surgeon with subspecialty interests in breast and paediatric surgery.

Mr Stuart Clark is a full time NHS Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Central Manchester. He was elected to Council in 2016. He is actively involved in examinations, education, the Regional Advisory Network and International Medical Graduates.

Mr Nishan Fernando is a Specialty Surgeon at North of Scotland Cardiothoracic Unit. He sits on the Executive Committee of the Faculty of Perioperative Care, is a Member of the SASLED Committee, and is the SAS representative on the Cardiothoracic SSB.

Mr Philip Turner

College Vice President

Professor Phil Turner, a specialist knee surgeon, has held prominent roles in surgical education, including Programme Director, Head of the School of Surgery (HENW), and Chair of national curriculum and training committees. He is an Honorary Professor at the University of Salford, where has led major orthopaedic programmes in Manchester.
