Overview
This webinar will focus on surgical procedures for relief of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy including aspects of myectomy and concomitant procedures. It will discuss current evidence for surgery and provide an overview of the surgical procedures and perioperative management.

Dr. Nicholas G. Smedira - Dr Smedira, MD, MBA, is a Cardiac Surgeon within the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute at the Cleveland Clinic, specializing in adult cardiac surgery, septal myectomy and pulmonary embolectomy. He is a Professor of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and holds the first Polly and W. Neal Rossborough Endowed Chair in Heart Transplantation Research.
