Nominations Open for Faculty of Dental Surgery Medals

The Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) is inviting nominations for its prestigious Dental Faculty Medals, awarded to individuals who have made a profound difference in Dentistry, either in the UK or internationally. These medals honour dentists and professionals who have made distinguished contributions to the Faculty, the College, and the wider profession.

Do you know an individual who has demonstrated exceptional achievements, outstanding service, or significant contributions to the field of Dentistry? Now is your opportunity to recognise their dedication and impact.

Nominations are submitted by peers, who are asked to outline the achievements of the individual they wish to nominate using the form below. Nominators are encouraged to provide a broad range of supporting information, including links to external sources where possible. Each nomination must also be endorsed by a seconder.

The deadline for submission of nominations is Wednesday 24 June 2026.
