We are delighted to announce the appointment of new International Surgical Ambassadors (ISAs) and International Dental Ambassadors (IDAs) for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Our International Ambassadors are a key element of our international outreach and provide valuable support for the College’s activity in their country or region, as well acting as a local point of contact for trainees, Members and Fellows, and partner organisations. These appointments are for a three-year term.
New International Surgical Ambassador appointees are: Khaled Altarrah, Kuwait; Kent-man Chu, Hong Kong SAR; Chris Lewis, Ian Young and Mohammad Saqib Zafar, Australia; Saleema Begum, Raza Hassan, Syed Irfan Kabir, Farhan Ahmed Majeed, Saood Ahmad Rao and Aurangzeb Shaikh, Pakistan; and Ronnie Mathew, Singapore.
New International Dental Ambassadors appointees are: Muhammad Haris Iqbal and Sadia Asif Samdani, Pakistan; Chong Jun Ai, Malaysia; Khaing Myat Thu, Hong Kong SAR; and Pravin Prathip Jayachandran, India.
