The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is delighted to celebrate the appointment of Chanté St Clair Inglis, our Director of Heritage and Estates, as the new Chair of the Recognition Committee at Museums Galleries Scotland. In this influential role, Chanté will help shape the future of Scotland’s nationally significant collections—championing their visibility, supporting long-term sustainability, and strengthening their collective impact across the country.

Commenting on her appointment, Chanté said:

I’m honoured to be appointed Chair of the Recognition Committee. The Recognition Scheme is a powerful way to celebrate and support the breadth of Scotland’s nationally significant collections, wherever they are held. I’m excited to learn more about the remarkable work happening across the country and to help shape a future where these collections continue to enrich lives for generations to come.
