Applications are due by Friday 22 August 2025.
A Continued Commitment to Global Healthcare Excellence
Since its establishment in 2018, the Faculty has led efforts to professionalise and support those working in some of the most demanding healthcare environments around the world. The awards of Membership (MFRRHHEd) and Fellowship (FFRRHHEd) reflect this commitment by recognising the unique expertise and contributions of individuals who operate in remote, rural and humanitarian healthcare settings.
The Faculty’s growing global community includes professionals across a wide range of disciplines, both clinical and non-clinical, demonstrating the interdisciplinary nature of delivering healthcare in challenging environments.
Supporting Innovation and Development in the Sector
With a diverse membership base and a growing network of strategic partners, the Faculty continues to drive innovation, share best practices, and foster collaboration among those working in some of the most resource-limited and complex healthcare settings. These awards represent a significant step in championing the value and professionalism of this essential field.
Who can Apply?
The Faculty strives to be diverse and inclusive. We particularly welcome applications from qualified individuals from protected characteristic groups.
Applications are welcome from anyone working in roles that support remote, rural or humanitarian healthcare, clinical OR non-clinical. This encompasses a very broad spectrum, including the list below, which is not exhaustive.
Assessment by Peers, Recognition by the Profession
Applications will be assessed by professional peers, using evidentiary criteria that reflect each candidate’s impact and contribution to the development of remote, rural, and humanitarian healthcare. This rigorous yet inclusive process ensures that the awards remain a respected marker of achievement and expertise across the sector.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a formal diploma ceremony hosted by the College, providing an opportunity to celebrate their achievements with the wider Faculty community and gain well-deserved professional recognition.
Full guidance and supporting documents for applicants are now available on the Faculty’s Membership page.
Applications will close on Friday 22 August 2025.
