Since its establishment in 2018, the Faculty has led efforts to professionalise and support those working in some of the most demanding healthcare environments around the world. The awards of Membership (MFRRHHEd) and Fellowship (FFRRHHEd) reflect this commitment by recognising the unique expertise and contributions of individuals who operate in remote, rural and humanitarian healthcare settings.

The Faculty’s growing global community includes professionals across a wide range of disciplines, both clinical and non-clinical, demonstrating the interdisciplinary nature of delivering healthcare in challenging environments.

Who can Apply?

The Faculty strives to be diverse and inclusive. We particularly welcome applications from qualified individuals from protected characteristic groups.

Applications are welcome from anyone working in roles that support remote, rural or humanitarian healthcare, clinical OR non-clinical. This encompasses a very broad spectrum, including the list below, which is not exhaustive.
