New College Identity - A Message from the RCSEd President

I wanted to announce a change to our logo which we have been working on over the past few months. The RCSEd was founded in 1505 and is therefore one of the oldest Surgical Colleges in the world. We serve almost 30,000 Affiliates, Members, and Fellows across the globe with 40% of our membership based overseas and over 15,500 members in England and Wales. We, therefore, felt it was important that our brand identity reflected our history and our reach.
RCSEd Announces the Launch of a New College App
The RCSEd is delighted to announce the launch of its new mobile app, a hub of learning and development for surgeons, dentists, and healthcare professionals at all levels.
The Faculty of Dental Trainers Welcomes its First Fellow from India

The RCSEd Faculty of Dental Trainers (FDT) has recently welcomed its first Fellow from India, Dr Prabhu Manickam Natarajan, due to his sustained contribution to Dental Education.
RCSEd Statement on COVID-19 second wave and the importance of continuation of essential surgeries
The message today from Professor Chris Whitty, the Chief Medical Officer and Sir Patrick Valance, the Government’s Chief Scientific Advisor, was powerful, urgent and timely. It is clear that a second wave of Covid-19 is upon us and could be devastating unless swift, mitigating action is taken by government, the NHS and the general public.
ICBSE Statement on MRCS Part A September 2020 Diet

The ICBSE board is aware that whilst most candidates successfully completed the MRCS Part A online exam on Tuesday 15 September, we believe that a small number of candidates encountered technical difficulties, which some were unable to resolve fully.
