The second wave of the pandemic in India has caused the world to reach out to help the nation. India is on the verge of a humanitarian crisis and needs support to avoid another surge worldwide. Our thoughts are with all our Affiliates, Members, Fellows their families and the people of India in your fight to overcome this tragic situation in your country.

'The news from India is touching the hearts of all of us here at the College. Sadly, we hear daily reports from our close friends, colleagues and relatives suffering first-hand the tragedy that is coronavirus. All of our Members and Fellows and their families in India are in our thoughts at this frightening time.
The College will maintain strong links with all of our Members and Fellows through our International Surgical Adviser network but please keep in touch with all of us during this difficult time.’
