The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is looking for applications for the post of Professor of Anatomy. The primary purpose of the role is to support the College in the delivery and ongoing development of anatomy teaching.
The successful applicant will be an anatomist, or a clinician with a strong interest in anatomy. The post will be based within the Education Section and will sit under the Director of Examinations, Education and Faculties. The post holder will have a direct operational link with the Skills Centre and will work with Course Directors, as appropriate, to deliver anatomy teaching across the College’s course portfolio. In addition, the post holder will advise the College on matters relating to anatomy and support the continued development and advancement of anatomy education.
The post carries an honorarium of £12,000 per annum.
