Aims
The seminar will delve into current understandings of medical professionalism and what it means to be a member of our profession. We will explore if professionalism is changing across the generations and what that may mean for the future of surgical training.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Understand what is professionalism and decide whether it is static or evolving?
- Appreciate how and why differing medical generations see the world differently.
- Use Social Contract theory to explain current conflict in the healthcare workplace.
- Consider future surgical training to meet trainee requirements.
