Course Postponement FAQs - COVID-19

Is my course cancelled?
For courses booked and paid for via the RCSEd website, from Monday 16 March through to the end of August, the course will not be going ahead and you will be contacted directly.

Will my place be transferred?
We will offer to transfer you onto another course from September onward. You will receive a confirmation email in due course with the details of your new course date and booking.

Will I receive a full refund?
We are offering to transfer delegates to a new course date. If a transfer is not suitable, your course fee will be fully refunded.

I am booked on/am faculty on a locally delivered RCSEd course, is that cancelled?
If your course was not booked via RCSEd directly or the RCSEd website, we are unable to advise regarding cancellations. The local center responsible for delivering the course should contact you directly if your course is cancelled.

When will I be able to attend a course in the future?
We will resume running courses as soon as possible. However, we envisage that this will not be until September of this year. We will inform you in a timely manner, but the courses section of the website will have the most up to date information.

Can I put my name on a waiting list?
Yes, to register interest on any particular course, please email education@rcsed.ca.uk.

Can the course run online instead?
We are reviewing our courses to see what learning materials can be made available online

Are webinars, e-learning courses and resources affected?
No. These will continue as normal.

How can I contact you?
Please be advised that we are receiving large numbers of inquiries and are endeavoring to respond as quickly as we can. We urge you to read our FAQs thoroughly before contacting us directly. You can reach us at education@rcsed.ac.uk.

Please note:

Contacting us by email ensures we can prioritise and deal with your query or concern as efficiently as possible.  Please don’t email repeatedly, as this will delay our efforts in trying to deal with all inquiries.  Thank you.
