Urgent Care – Is it time for a “Chain of Urgent Care”?

11th May 2022

Overview

The FPHC has for many years wanted to promote Urgent Care as a career choice for clinicians. The development of Pre-Hospital Care owes much to the development of multi-professional systems for trauma and cardiac care. This webinar sets out to explore if this learning could benefit Urgent Care and, if so, how.

Aims

To discuss the benefits of looking at Urgent Care as a system of Care and how this can be achieved.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this webinar, participants should have an appreciation of the numerous providers of Urgent Care. This should include the providers area of provision, volume of work, outcomes, limitations of current provision and potential developments. Plans for developing ways of sharing information between urgent care professionals will be discussed for ongoing consideration.
