Membership in Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics
Applications are invited for Examiners for the Faculty of Examiners for the Membership in the single specialties of Endodontics, Periodontics and Prosthodontics (MEndo, MPerio and MPros RCSEd respectively) of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Applicants should normally be a Dental Associate, Fellow or Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in good standing or be willing to affiliate to the College on approval of their application. They will normally have held a primary dental qualification for a period of not less than ten years.
The Faculty of Examiners comprises individuals who can undertake assessment of candidates’ nominated subject in the mono-specialties of periodontics, endodontics and prosthodontics for the award of the appropriate Membership in Endodontics, Periodontics or Prosthodontics. Whilst applications from all prospective examiners are encouraged; applications from examiners specialising in Endodontics or Periodontics would be particularly welcomed.
Training for all examiners will be provided by the College and all appointed examiners will be expected to contribute to the question bank and attend appropriate further training. Examiners must attend a training course (online) and normally observe a diet of the examination before being permitted to examine. Successful applicants will be invited to training on approval of their application.
