Meeting Old Colleagues and New in Sri Lanka

RCSEd President Professor Rowan Parks, Vice-Presidents Professor Tim Graham and Ms Clare McNaught, together with Honorary Secretary Professor Robin Paton and Council Member Mr Mike Silva were delighted to attend the Joint Surgical Congress of the College of Surgeons of Sri Lanka, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and SAARC Surgical Care Society in September.
While in the country, the team delivered an engagement event for local trainee surgeons. They were also delighted to connect with old friends and new at a social dinner one evening. The successful Congress followed an MRCS Examination and RCSEd-hosted events. It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet former ISA Professor Ranil Fernando, and welcome new ISA Dr Jayaindra Fernando to the team.
