The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) are excited to announce that our Examinations Department are returning to Singapore this summer to run a diet of Intercollegiate MRCS Part B OSCE. The examination will take place on 18 - 19 August 2019 and applications are open now via the College website.

RCSEd Examination Convenor, Mr. Ian Hawthorn said:

“This is a really exciting time for the Examinations Section and the College. We currently run the Intercollegiate MRCS Part A in Singapore and are now returning after a couple of years with a diet of Intercollegiate MRCS Part B OSCE. Sitting the Membership Examination (MRCS) is a natural start for young surgeons who enter their training programme."

"We find there is a customary progression to the Joint Specialty Fellowship Exit Examinations, which we run in partnership with the College of Surgeons of Singapore and Hong Kong. We also offer successful candidates the opportunity to attend a Diploma Ceremony and collect their diplomas in front of family and friends in Singapore. This visit has the full support of College Council”

If you would like to apply for Intercollegiate MRCS Part B OSCE, candidates can do so by either applying online or download a paper application via the exams website or contact the Examinations Team via email at surgical.exams@rcsed.ac.uk.
