RCSEd Accreditation – Surgical Educational Activity
RCSEd can provide accreditation of a wide range of surgical educational activities as listed below.
Educational programmes/modules of 3 weeks or more duration that result in certificate, diploma or degree.
Programmes which lead to national permissive professional qualifications.
Courses or events of 5 days duration or less.
Centres which offer their own portfolio of courses.
UK-based programmes for UK-based surgeons and overseas programmes for UK-based surgeons.
Books, portfolios, reference materials can be considered on request.

Step-by-step Process to Accreditation
Contact the accreditation team (accreditation@rcsed.ac.uk) who can provide you with the relevant documents and information for the accreditation you are seeking.
Complete and return the application to the accreditation team with the requested supporting documentation.
After reviewing your application, the accreditation team will be in touch requesting any further information they think would help further support your application. If no further information is required, your application will be sent off for review by our clinical and educational specialists.
Once the review process is complete, the accreditation team will inform you of the outcome of your application.
