Professor of Urological Surgery, Consultant Urological Surgeon. Head of Urology, University of Leipzig, Germany. Chairman of International Urological Training Centre of Laparoscopy and Robotic-assisted Surgery.

Professor Stolzenburg has performed in excess of 10,000 radical prostatectomies, achieving international recognition in the development of robot- assisted operating. He has been head of the International Training Center of Urologic Laparoscopy in Leipzig since 2002. He has published over 350 papers, 5 books and 14 book chapters. As a board-member on the EAU Robotic Urology Section, he has developed a validated, modular training programme for robotic partial nephrectomy.
