MaxFax cases: dental pathology / neck sepsis

Overview

This webinar, aimed at Doctors in Training, will cover the main causes of head and neck sepsis. It will discuss their pathogenesis, assessment, and treatment.

Dental disease is by far the most common and important cause of such infections and is an area not widely taught at medical school. The webinar will give an introduction and overview of this important subject.

 

Panellists

Mr Mike Williams

Mike is a consultant Maxillofacial surgeon with a special interest in Trauma and Deformity. He was an Army consultant for many years and has served in three major conflicts.

Mr Richard Graham

OMFS higher surgical training North West 2004-2010. Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2010 based in North Manchester General hospital. BDS Dundee 1993, MBChB Aberdeen 2001, FDSRCS(Eng) 1996, FDSRCS(Ed) 2014, FRCS(OMFS) 2008. Member of Faculty of Surgical Trainers (RCSEd) and Regional Surgical Adviser RCSEd since 2017.
