Overview

This session will present an update on Head and Neck Reconstruction with a focus on clinical outcomes and the evidence base around approaches utilised in contemporary practice. The main areas that will be discussed includes: choice of reconstruction, oral rehabilitation, custom reconstruction, flap monitoring and the impact of care pathways.

By the end of this webinar, the participant should be able to:

  • Understand the concepts and trends of contemporary head and neck reconstruction
  • Appreciate the evidence base for reconstructive techniques and technologies utilised
  • Understand the value of enhanced recovery and care pathways in the management of patients who have had head and neck reconstruction.
