Overview

With a lifetime risk of passing a kidney stone at 10%, stone disease can have a significant impact. This webinar will take the audience on a journey, looking at the causes, presentation, prevention and treatment of stone disease.

Aims

The webinar will provide practical tips and advice on how to assess patients presenting with acute stone disease, as well as the management and prevention of stones.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this webinar the participant should have an understanding of:
- How stones form and how patients can be counselled as to reducing their risk.
- Practical tips on the assessment and management of emergency stone disease.
- Imaging and investigative modalities for stone disease, as well as the currtent management approaches.
