Bermuda: The Opportunities & Challenges for National Digital Health Strategies in Small Island States

28th June 2023

Overview

The Faculty of Remote, Rural and Humanitarian Healthcare is delighted to deliver our next joint webinar with organsiation member Interactive Health. Delivered in partnership with the University of Edinburgh, this webinar focuses on digital health and a recently commissioned assessment in Bermuda.

Bermuda recently commissioned a digital health maturity assessment ahead of developing its first digital health strategy. In this webinar, we will present the findings from that assessment to which we took a mix-methods approach with on-site interviews, virtual interviews, focus groups, and surveys. Additionally, we will discuss the potential particular challenges and opportunities that developing and implementing digital health strategies in small island countries may present.

Aims

This webinar aims to present the findings from a recent digital health maturity assessment performed in Bermuda and how those findings can extrapolate to small island countries.
