Training in the Independent Sector

22nd February 2021

Overview

Given the significant impact of the COVID pandemic on delivery of surgical services, it is widely accepted that this has had a profound effect on opportunities for surgical training.

The aim of this webinar is to explore the opportunities for training in the Independent Sector so that UK surgical training can continue in part peri/post COVID with NHS patients being treated in non-NHS facilities - the Independent sector.

We hope to identify what the issues are for the various stakeholders and how we might all work towards facilitating this for the benefits of training; trainees and of course ultimately patients.
