Tips and Tricks for Training in a Pandemic
25th January 2021, 19:00 to 20:00 GMT
This webinar will consider what is being done to support trainees and trainers, and mitigate the impact of the pandemic on surgical education & training. It is recognised that there are many concerns about redeployment, rotations, recovery of elective surgical activity and the potential effects on trainee progression. Updates and insights will be provided from a College, JCST, CoPSS and SEB perspective with an opportunity for attendees to share experiences and ask questions of the panel.
Our panellists include:
- Professor Rowan Parks (Chair)
- Mr Jon Lund
Chair of Joint Committee on Surgical Training (JCST)
- Miss Esther McLarty
Chair of Confederation of Postgraduate Schools of Surgery (CoPSS)
- Mr Josh Burke
President of The Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT)
- Mr Harry Sargeant
Trauma & Orthopaedic Registrar (ST7)
Registered attendees who connect for the full duration of the live webinar and have completed the post-event survey will be entitled to receive a CPD certificate.
