11th May 2020

Overview

Since January 2020 the COVID-19 crisis has caused unprecedented disruption to health care delivery across the world. The College has over 40% of its 27,000 members overseas. The college has issued guidelines to surgeons in the UK. These have been shared with the medical personnel in India.

Our invited International partners from India, Malaysia and Singapore will share their experiences regarding recognition, government response, communication, capacity building and lockdown. We look forward to their views on testing, contact tracing and treatment and lastly their plans for lifting lockdown and exit strategy.
