The RCSEd Dentsply Sirona Dental Clinical Skills Competition Grand Final is proud to announce Philip Eburne (centre) from the University of Birmingham as the 1st place winner of the National event. On winning, Philip said:
I would like to thank all of the clinical staff and everyone else that supported me through this. It was a shock to have been chosen as the winner but it feels great!
Jae Eun Lee (left) of Queen’s University Belfast came a close 2nd place with Alice Sherrard (right) of University of Liverpool hot on the heels in 3rd place.
17 regional heats took place throughout the UK and Ireland prior to the Grand Final to give final year dental students the opportunity to scale the summit of their dental career journey with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’s support, in a bid to uncover the next generation of dental surgeons.
Well done to all who competed!
