Royal Colleges Seek New ICBSE and JCST Chairs

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and its sister Royal Colleges the Royal College of Surgeons of England, The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland invite applications to chair two key intercollegiate committees.
The current chairs of the Intercollegiate Committee for Basic Surgical Examinations (ICBSE) and The Joint Committee on Surgical Training (JCST) leave office this year. President of RCSEd, Professor Michael Griffin, will lead the selection process, with the Presidents of all four Colleges making the final selection. The closing date for applications to both posts is Monday 2 March 2020.
Applicants must be Fellows in good standing at one of the four colleges and be in clinical consultant practice in the National Health Service (UK)/Public Health Service (Ireland).
