Learning to live with our mistakes

24th May 2023

Overview

Every surgeon will make a mistake at some point in their career, some effecting patients more than others. Surgeons have to live with the feelings associated with these errors for the rest of their lives.

During our third Wellbeing Week webinar Dr Alderson will discuss ways of living with these emotions and how the arts can be used to help. This will be an interactive session with the ability to ask live questions, so please get involved.

Aims

  • How to cope when a mistake is made
  • Ways of living with the feelings around error
