The RCSEd & Dentsply Sirona National Student Dental Skills Competition - What it Takes to be a Winner

The RCSEd Dentsply Sirona Dental Clinical Skills Competition 2022/23 Grand Final took place last month, where 18 finalists were invited to compete in Edinburgh on Thursday 23 March. After an exciting yet intense day of competition, there could only be one winner and Gaeun Oh took 1st place representing the Queen University of London.

RCSEd responds to report on bullying, undermining, discrimination, and sexual misconduct in surgery and across the NHS

This report in The Times highlights the harassment and sexist abuse faced by women in surgery and the unacceptable workplace culture of bullying, undermining, discrimination, and sexual misconduct that is endemic in surgery and throughout the NHS. On behalf of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, we would like to apologise to all those who have experienced discrimination and abuse at work.
