RCSEd Voices Concerns over SCPs Performing High-Risk Surgery
As an organisation focused on improving standards of surgical care and patient outcomes, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) acknowledges the critical role that all members of the Extended Surgical Team play in delivering quality care.
In a landmark collaboration aimed at addressing the critical shortage of skilled surgical care in conflict and disaster zones, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) is teaming up with the David Nott Foundation (DNF) to later this year host their Hostile Environment Surgical Training UK (HEST-UK) course at the College in Edinburgh.
Nominations Open for Trainee member of Council 2024
Nominations are invited for this key opportunity for the opinion of our Trainee membership to influence College policy in the future on a wide range of issues including training, education, assessment and future service delivery. The Trainee member of Council also co-chairs the Trainee Committee during their term of office.

This programme provides a short-term surgical training experience that involves learning novel techniques or observing surgical practice in a centre of surgical excellence internationally or within the UK.
