Overview

This will be an evening of networking followed by a series of talks with discussion and debate. Networking and refreshments will begin at 17:00 followed by talks at 18:00 with an approximate finish time of 20:00.

Target Audience

For all surgical trainees and trainers including surgical care practitioners

Learning Style

Interactive workshops, group work, guest speakers and a presentation followed by a Q&A session

Aims & Objectives

The aim of this forum is to appraise the trainees of the role of the education department and the strategy of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. The opportunities and the support offered to trainers and trainees at the RCSEd will also be on topic along with relevant information for trainees and trainers of the new curriculum planned for 2020. There will be interaction and debate for the trainees and trainers with the RCSEd representatives on the current training issues relevant to current issues.

Information dissemination about the education department and also to understand the educational needs of the trainees and trainers
