Deputy Convener of Examinations

We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Convener of Examinations from May 2021, for a period of three years, to work closely with the Convener of exams to lead the College’s work in this area, including advising Council on all matters relating to the conduct of College examinations in the UK and internationally, representing the College on Intercollegiate Committees, and overseeing the appointment of examiners.

Applicants should be RCSEd Fellows in good standing and be current examiners for the College with a minimum of three years’ experience.  A knowledge of Quality Assurance and international examinations delivery is required.

Deputy Convener of Education

We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Convener of Education from May 2021, for a period of three years, to work with the Convener of Education, Council, Surgical Specialty Boards, Specialty Associations and other key stakeholders to help shape the future direction of education within the College.  Central to this will be the development and implementation of the College’s education strategy. 

Applicants should be RCSEd Fellows in good standing and in consultant practice, with experience of education and training.
