Honorary Secretary Vacancy
The post of Honorary Secretary becomes vacant when Dr Judy Evans comes to the end of her term of appointment in November 2020. Applications for the post of Honorary Secretary are invited. Prospective applicants should be Fellows of the College in good standing. The appointee will become an ex officio member of the College Council, if they are not already a sitting Council member. It is anticipated that the time commitment will average around one day per week, with the postholder attending key Committees and meetings in the College and also working remotely from their existing base.
A job description is provided below, along with an application form. Interested parties are asked to submit an application electronically. The appointment shall be made following a suitable shortlisting and interview process and will be subject to ratification by the College Council.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held in May, with the final date being confirmed in the New Year.
Following an appointment, the successful candidate will be expected to shadow the incumbent Honorary Secretary for a period of up to three months in order to familiarise themselves with the role.
