Honorary Secretary

The post of Honorary Secretary becomes vacant when Dr Clare McNaught comes to the end of her term of appointment in November 2022. Applications for the post of Honorary Secretary are invited. Prospective applicants should be Fellows of the College in good standing.  The appointee will become an ex officio member of the College Council, if they are not already a sitting Council member. It is anticipated that the time commitment will average around one day per week, with the postholder attending key Committees and meetings in the College and also working remotely from their existing base.

The appointment shall be made following a suitable shortlisting and interview process and will be subject to ratification by the College Council.

Please note that the interviews are scheduled to take place on Friday 16 September 2022. 

Following an appointment, the successful candidate will be expected to shadow the incumbent Honorary Secretary in order to familiarise themselves with the role.
