Fellowship Examination in Ophthalmology

The College has recently revised all its examinations in Ophthalmology and has developed a new three part examination in the specialty which will be held both here in Edinburgh and overseas. We are now looking to recruit enthusiastic new examiners to complement our existing experienced Faculty of Examiners to help drive this development forward. Applicants should normally be a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in good standing or have documented affiliation with the College.

Examiners will be expected to contribute to the Question Banks in addition to examining in the oral, clinical and practical components of the examination. All examiners are required undergo training prior to examining and this will be provided by the College.

The application form, referee form and the guidance notes including the criteria for applicants can be found below.
