Mitigating Against the Harms of COVID-19 on Oral Health

The Consultants in Dental Public Health and Chief Administrative Dental Officers in Scotland Group have developed a paper that looks at the equitable re-mobilisation of dental and oral health services, to mitigate against the wider harms of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the major disruption to postgraduate medical education during the last year of the COVID-19 pandemic, Health Education England (HEE) is working with the Department of Health and Social Care, Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, the General Medical Council and NHS England and Improvement to support training recovery as an urgent priority.
“Greener Operations” James Lind Alliance Priority Setting Partnership

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is supporting “Greener Operations”, a James Lind Alliance Priority Setting Partnership which aims to identify the most important research questions that need to be answered in order to help make operations (including surgery, anaesthesia, and healthcare provided around the time of an operation) more environmentally sustainable.
