College President Attends RCSEd/CSHK Conjoint Scientific Congress

RCSEd President Professor Michael Griffin OBE and team were proud to represent the College at the RCSEd/CSHK (The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong) Conjoint Scientific Congress 2019 on 21-22 September in Hong Kong.
The Congress covered the topic of Advances and Innovations in Surgery and many Fellows and Trainees had the opportunity to present their work. President Griffin and the President of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, Dr Heng-tat Leong, both gave addresses at the event.
The trip took in exams that were being held in Hong Kong at the time, as well as inspecting medical facilities in mainland China and attending an accreditation ceremony at the University of Hong Kong-Shenzen Hospital. As always, the Symposium and Diploma Ceremony were a great success. The collaboration between the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has never been closer.
